Below is a copy of a recent interview I did for a College Student studying journalism.
In it I speak about 'why' I felt so compelled to write my books.
Hint--I write for YOU!
Namaste...

Student: "So tell my why you wrote your book The Road Back To Me."
Lisa: "To be completely frank, for as long as I can remember I have felt the need to speak to others who have been wounded by their childhoods. Because I know what it feels like to be stuck in negative patterns of purely UNCONSCIOUS programming--and because it is like brainwashing--and because I was able to successfully reprogram my mind--through committing to becoming as personally aware of Self as I possibly could--and because my life has totally transformed as a result--it is as if I simply CANNOT keep this information to myself. It's too empowering to keep a secret."
Student: "Are you saying you've sort of discovered the 'real secret'? "
Lisa: " I adored the book 'The Secret' and 'The Power of Now'. Both were very inspiring--but in all honesty a huge fundamental concept has been left out. In my opinion--we attract what we are from a vibrational standpoint. So if I loath Self--then I can only attract to me more of those things that mirror that concept of self. It is not enough to tell people to simply think happy thoughts--or to just focus on wanted things. People must first understand--that if you do not heal your past--face your demons--make peace with whatever has been--and I mean make real peace--and let all the crap go--you cannot effectively manifest wanted things. It just won't happen. You must learn to rewire the very workings of your brain--and so if you are a wounded adult child--and you have not done your recovery work--you might very well be frustrated by some book telling you to just think happy thoughts."
Student: " I get the feeling you wrote your book because you feel like you have figured something out."
Lisa: "Yes--Yes--Yes...and because I have such empathy for wounded beings--and because my life is this wonderful unfolding of only more wonderful things--I know with all of my heart--that if people are ready to heal their lives--my books will not only help them awaken and become more self aware--but they will also help keep them on track. Healing is a journey. It does not nor should it happen in one swift heave ho. So yes--I have figured IT out--I have figured LIFE out and yes--I am passionate about sharing that information with the world."
Student: "In your opinion--if you can in one sentence--tell me--What is the real secret to getting everything you truly desire out of life?"

Lisa: "Ha ha..great question...and by the way--in my books, many times over I point to the real secrets to how to finally get unstuck and live an abundant life that is full of self love, harmonious relationships, as well as how to live without worry about money. But to answer your question in one sentence I would have to say...'That the secret to life is found through committing to becoming as Self Aware as humanly possible--because through the connecting to ones higher self--through the porthole of awareness--one finally integrates with ones spiritual self--which is higher self--which is connected to all that is."
Student: "What is My Road Beyond The Codependent Divorce about and how will it empower your readers?"

Lisa: "Anyone who has ever gone through a divorce--and especially a codependent one, knows how entangling and exasperating it can be. Codependent relationships are exhausting, but codependent divorces are sometimes even worse. This book is especially written to help my readers stay AWARE of their unconscious codependent programming while enduring insurmountable emotional stress. It is about learning how to stay detached from negative emotions--so one can make the best possible life choices."
