Recently I began contemplating the concepts of fate and destiny. I wondered how it could be that I was now at such an abundant time in life, while members of my own family still live very much through the vantage point of fear. They fear spending money, as if they'll never make another dime. They fear going on vacation, because you need to spend money in order to do that. They fear going to get manicures, because you have to spend money to do that too.
The theme of 'lack' runs through my families veins like blood. It is what defined us then, and for most members of my family, it is still what defines them now.
It has become clearer and clearer to me lately, that all human beings, when entering onto this planet, have what I like to call a 'probable life path'. Many outside circumstance dictate what our probable life path might be, like the spiritual intelligence of our parents, their socioeconomic state, their concepts about money, education, as well as their opinions about god. Essentially whatever our parents belief systems were, good or bad--will absolutely place us upon a specific probable life path.
If your parents were alcoholics, then there is a high probability that you may either attract an alcoholic into your life, or become addicted to alcohol or some other 'thing' whether that is alcohol, worry, thoughts, fear, shopping, gambling or enabling.
But it doesn't have to turn out that way.
At ANY point in time, we can--through the power of our own 'free will' change the course of our 'probable life path' IF we are able to get outside of our current reality and begin actively making mental, emotional and physical changes in our lives at that specific point in time.
Just because our parents were addicted or denial and or fear based does not mean we absolutely must follow the same path.
Fate is being rewritten all the time. And if you are reading this, I am believing that your time to change your current 'probable life path' is NOW.
Keep reading about why you 'feel' the way you do as a wounded child, and then begin letting the victim mentality go, because if you don't, your probable life path will draw to you things of a victimizing nature.
But if you do change, and stop pinching yourself off from the beauty that is around you right now, slowly you open up the stream that connects you to source.
It is a mental, spiritual and physical evolution of man's mind that must take place in order to manifest more pleasing life paths, and it is no ones responsibility to create more pleasing life experiences for an individual--but the individuals.
YOU were born a creator--not a victim, and only what you believe about Self is the issue, and beliefs can be changed at any time--if you ignite your free will to do so.
What 'probable life path' are you on right now?
And deeper--are you willing to change it?
Namaste
